Citizen Leadership Training Programme

Welcome to Preparing for Change, the national training course for Citizen Leadership.

On these pages you will find all the training materials you will need to deliver this eleven day course – comprehensive course notes, handouts, Powerpoint presentations for each day, and twelve video pieces to illustrate and highlight the various exercises.

Of course, you can use any of these materials more selectively to meet your own needs. You can customise your own shorter training course, or use these materials for your own learning and development.

The materials here are structured in four sections: 'Creating Citizen Leaders'; 'Equal Partners; 'Working Together and 'How's it Going'. Before you explore these sections, it’s worth having a look at the 'About the Training' section, which gives suggestions about how to deliver this course, based on what we learnt from piloting the course in North Ayrshire and the Scottish Borders.
